3. Installation Instructions
- Mount the transmitter in a vertical or horizontal orientation, ensuring minimal vibration exposure.
- Clean the process connection port to remove debris before installation.
- Torque the process connection to 55 N·m (40 ft-lb) using a calibrated torque wrench.
- Connect the 2-wire signal cable to the terminal block (polarity-sensitive: +V to positive, -V to negative).
- Seal all cable entry points to maintain IP67 enclosure rating.
- Apply power to the transmitter and verify output signal (4 mA at zero pressure, 20 mA at full scale).
- Calibrate the transmitter using HART communicator if necessary (refer to calibration section).
Important Safety & Maintenance Notes
- Installation and maintenance must be performed by certified personnel only.
- Isolate process pressure and disconnect power before servicing the transmitter.
- Do not exceed the maximum pressure or temperature ratings to prevent sensor damage.
- Perform periodic calibration (every 6-12 months) to maintain accuracy specifications.
- Avoid exposure to corrosive chemicals unless compatible with 316L stainless steel material.
